O’Connor, Hammel & Butler, P.A. serves as general counsel to our in-house title company, Mid-Atlantic Title LLC, and provides legal services to clients of the title company, as well as banks and lending institutions for their residential transactions.

We provide services to buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, and mortgage brokers, including:

• Contract preparation and review
• Title search and examination, and resolution of title issues
• Judgment and bankruptcy searches and resolution
• Preparation of Settlement Documents, including HUD-1 Settlement Statement, Deed, Powers of Attorney, loan documents, and other required documents
• Representation of lenders in residential loan transactions, including review of title, and negotiation and preparation of loan documents
• Timely recording of Deed, Mortgage, Deed of Trust and other required documents
• Issuance of Title Insurance through our title company, Mid-Atlantic Title Company
• Creation of Easements and Driveway Agreements
• Preparation of county deeds in connection with subdivisions and minor subdivisions
• Preparation of documents for Homeowners’ Associations
